Organisation

As of May 2011 the overall organisation of children and youth work in Langford and Churchill has fallen under a committee of members drawn from St Mary’s (Louisa Slingsby) , St John’s (Ian Maitland Round) and Churchill Methodist (Jacquelene Seel). The group also includes Anne Baker (Child Protection) and Rev Kate Sax.

The aims of the group:

Ensure that all volunteers working with children are suitable people and have undergone necesary vetting procedures (e.g. CRB check)
Act as point of liason betweeen the various groups.
Support all the Group volunteers
Look to future continuation of the groups (e.g. funding)
